Hamilton man Hassan Ali charged in relation to a sexual assault investigation

The Hamilton Police Service Victims of Crime Unit has arrested and charged a 46 year old Hamilton man on April 17, 2013, after investigating a reported sexual assault.

On March 20th, 2013 the Hamilton Police Service Victims of Crime Unit received allegations of a sexual assault that occurred on March 14th, 2013.  An investigation was conducted by members of the Sexual Assault Unit and the Crimes Against Seniors Unit. The female victim in this matter received care as a resident in a long-term care home.

Arrested:          Hassan Ali, 46 years of age of Hamilton
Charges:           Sexual Assault 
                            Bail Hearing and released on conditions on April 17,  2013.

The Hamilton Police Service Victims of Crime Unit continues to investigate.
