 The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Miriam Alexander, 58, was last seen at Hakim Optical, in the Dufferin Street/Dundas Street West area, on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 4 p.m.

She is described as black, with a light complexion, 5’9”, 140-145 lbs., with short, black/grey, curly hair. She was wearing a blue T-shirt and dark/grey pants. She was wearing glasses, a straw hat and carrying black leather purse.

Police are concerned for her safety as she requires medication.

UPDATE: Miriam Alexander has been located.
