On Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at 1:02 p.m., police were called to 1566 Midland Avenue for a shooting.

It is reported that:

– police located a man with trauma to the body,

– he was taken to hospital and died shortly after.

It is further reported that:

– a man was at the car wash and was asked to leave by the victim,

– the suspect then shot the victim and left the scene.

The victim has been identified as Emad Rozik, 49, of Toronto.

A post- mortem examination is scheduled for Wednesday, July 7, 2010.

The suspect is described as: male, black, 6’4", with a thin build. He was wearing a black baseball cap (with some type of insignia on the front), a black t’shirt with a baggy white t’shirt over top (worn to below the hips), baggy, black denim shorts (worn below the knees), and black/white high-top running shoes.
