Lunenburg County RCMP are releasing the name of a man killed on Highway 103 in Martins River on Saturday morning.

On June 1st, at approximately 7:45 a.m., an RCMP officer on his way to work came upon a collision that occurred on Highway 103 between an 18 wheeler and a Honda Civic. The driver of the Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene, the driver of the 18 wheeler was treated at the scene by Emergency Health Services and released. 

The victim has been identified as Abraham Assaff , 34, of Western Shore, Nova Scotia. The investigation is continuing.
