Double vehicle collision at Second North River, N.B. claims life of Anagance man

One man is dead as the result of a two vehicle collision on the Homestead Road in Second North River, N.B.

The Southeast District RCMP are investigating the head-on motor vehicle collision which occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. on June 9, 2013. A 22-year-old man from Anagance, N.B passed away at the scene of the collision as a result of his injuries. Two other people, the drivers of the vehicles, were taken to hospital. Their conditions are not known.

RCMP collision reconstructionists are assisting in the investigation. Alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor.

The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.
