Peter Chisholm from Woodstock First Nation charged with possession of dangerous weapons

On Wednesday July 7, 2010, District 7 RCMP arrested 19-year-old Peter Chisholm from Woodstock First Nation. He was held in custody and appeared in court today, July 9, 2010 for a bail hearing. Chisholm faces eight criminal charges, including multiple counts of mischief, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace, breaching an undertaking to a judge and threats.

The charges stem from incidents that occurred May 22, 2010 and July 5, 2010 at different locations in Woodstock First Nation. Chisholm was remanded in custody and will appear next Tuesday July 13, 2010 for plea in Woodstock Provincial Court.
