Friends and family have gathered around to help the Chatelain family in their time of need.

On June 21, 2010, 4-year-old Matthew Chatelain lost his life in a horrible car accident on Upper James Street in Hamilton.

His mother and little brother were also in the car but survived, they were on their way home from preschool when the tragedy occurred, and it changed their lives forever.

A Trust Fund Account has been created for donations to help the Chatelain family through this turbulent time. Donations can be made in person across Canada at any TD Canada Trust bank.

Please visit any branch during regular business hours to make a donation to:

Matthew Chatelain Trust Fund
Account Branch #0237
Account #6331328

Or send cheque to:

Jason Freeman
P.O. Box 79554
712 Mohawk Road East
Hamilton, Ontario

The smallest donation can make a big difference. From day one, people have asked how they could help; due to the outpouring of support and generosity the trust fund account was opened.

We hope to help the Chatelain family in their time of need. No amount of money can replace a lost loved one, let alone a child. We hope this will unleash some of the burden they have to overcome.
