Justin Mathers and Gregory Reuel charged with possession of weapons in Oshawa

Police arrested two males behind an Oshawa mall brandishing weapons and wearing disguises last night following reports from citizens of their suspicious activity.

On Monday July 12, 2010 at approximately 6:05 p.m. officers responded to the report of suspicious activity involving two male suspects behind a retail location on Laval Drive in Oshawa. Citizens had reported two males brandishing weapons and wearing disguises behind the retail plaza. Officers located both males behind the plaza wearing bandanas and in possession of two crowbars and a knife. The suspects were arrested without incident.

Justin MATHERS, age 19 of Elmira and Gregory REUEL, age 19 of No Fixed Address are charged with: Possession of Weapons Dangerous; Possession of Break and Enter Instrument and Disguise with Intent. MATHERS was further charged with Unlawfully Possess Schedule 1 Substance – Cocaine. Both accused were held for a bail hearing.

Police seized two crowbars, a kitchen knife, two bandanas; two wigs,drug paraphernalia and a ‘to-do’ list which included criminal activities to complete.
