Woman sexually assaulted in Downtown Toronto

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Sunday, July 11, 2010, at 3:20 a.m., the victim was walking in the area of Spadina Avenue/Wellington Street,

– she was approached by a man driving a white Pontiac Sunfire,

– the man engaged the victim in a conversation and then sexually assaulted her.

He is described as black, with a dark complexion, 39-40, 6’2", 200-210 lbs., stocky build, thin moustache, wide nose and thick lips.

He was wearing dark jeans, a rose-coloured, button-down dress shirt with white trim, and a white “Kangol” hat worn backwards.

The suspect was driving an older-model, two-door, Pontiac Sunfire with tinted windows and sunroof. The vehicle may have damage to the driver’s side.
