Pickering man arrested for sexually assaulting two Toronto women

Two Toronto women reported being assaulted by a Pickering male in his home over the weekend and investigators have arrested and charged the male with numerous offences.

On Sunday July 12, 2010, at approximately 8:20 a.m. two female victims from Toronto, both in their early 20s, attended a Toronto Police Service Division in Scarborough and reported being assaulted by a Pickering resident in his home overnight. The women were in attendance at an after-hours house party on Twyn Rivers Drive in Pickering, when the 43-year-old homeowner became verbally and physically aggressive towards both.

The first of two victims was sexually assaulted and confined in the residential washroom but escaped and did not require medical attention. The second victim was struck with a beer bottle over the head and punched in the face receiving minor injuries. As both women attempted to leave the residence in a motor vehicle, the accused continued his attack kicking at both females in the car through an open door. Neither victim required medical attention from the additional assault.

Carwin Montgomery CAMPBELL, age 43 of Twyn Rivers Drive in Pickering is charged with: Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement, Assault X2, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Assault with a Weapon. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
