Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man following an incident at 6362 Windswept about 2:45 p.m. on Monday (July 8).

The victim, 41, suffered unknown trauma and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPd Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer M. Stahlin reported:

The victim was found unresponsive, lying on the bathroom floor in his apartment on Tuesday (July 9).  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital where he died.  Investigators believe the victim may have been involved in an altercation the previous afternoon (July 8) in a convenience store parking lot at the above address and suffered apparent minor injuries.  He was then taken by his roommate from the Windswept location to his apartment in the 6400 block of Skyline.

The investigation is pending the victim’s cause of death.
