Arthur Larry Corey of White’s Cove dies in a motorcycle accident

District 2 RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 105 in White’s Cove, N.B. on July 18, 2010 at approximately 12:37pm. The collision occurred when an eastbound motorcycle collided with the rear end of a pickup truck and skidded into oncoming traffic, colliding with two westbound motorcycles. The driver of the eastbound motorcycle, a 61-year-old man from White’s Cove passed away at the scene from his injuries. The driver of one of the other motorcycles sustained minor injuries.

Following notification of his family, the RCMP is able to identify the victim of a motorcycle crash on Highway 105 in White’s Cove on July 18, 2010.

61-year-old Arthur Larry Corey of White’s Cove was killed when his motorcycle collided with the rear end of a pickup truck and skidded into oncoming traffic, colliding with two westbound motorcycles. The driver of one of the other motorcycles sustained minor injuries.

Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in this collision. Investigation into the collision is ongoing.
