A 36-year-old male has died following a motorcycle collision Saturday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 17, a 36-year-old male was operating a motorcycle westbound on Anthony Henday entering onto Calgary Trail southbound. The driver appears to have lost control as the motorcycle rounded the curve on the ramp, resulting in the motorcycle striking the cement retaining wall. The driver was thrown over the retaining wall and onto Calgary Trail about 10 metres below. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Speed is considered to be a factor in this collision.
