Drunken Milton George Monroe charged with manslaughter in Houston, Texas

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal traffic accident in the 13300 block of Cullen about 9:20 p.m. on Sunday (July 18). 
The suspect, Milton George Monroe (b/m/, DOB: 11-24-43), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 351st State District Court. 
The male victim, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

According to witnesses, a male (victim) caused a disturbance at a gas station at 13306 Cullen and the station manager asked him to leave.  As the male walked across the parking lot, witnesses stated he turned back and continued to yell at the manager.  As the male walked off the parking lot and into a southbound lane of Cullen, he was struck and killed by a
Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.

The driver of the truck immediately turned into the next parking lot entrance and stopped.   

Further investigation determined the driver of the Chevrolet was intoxicated and he was arrested at the scene.
