EPS Homicide Detectives have laid charges in connection with the murder of a 26-year-old woman, which took place on July 21, 2013 at the Oakridge Mobile Home Park.
Jimmy Steve Rivas-Magana, 26, has been charged with 2nd degree murder. An arrest warrant for the accused was issued by the EPS on July 25, 2013. Rivas-Magana was interviewed and charged by detectives on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013.
The victim, Yeny Alfaro, 26, died from a stab wound to the chest.
