The integrated team investigating the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet has made on the morning of July 20, the arrest of a man 51 years of Roxboro. It would appear this morning at the Montreal courthouse to answer a charge of luring with a computer.

The integrated team of the Surete du Quebec began its investigation in May 2010. The suspect, who was spotted on an Internet network for instant messaging, was arrested in Montreal. A search conducted at his home led police to seize computer equipment that will be a complete analysis, which could lead to other charges.

Note that the integrated team is part of the Investigation Service of the integrity of the person and is made up of police of the Sûreté du Québec and Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Their mandate is to investigate the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet.
