Charges have now been laid in a recent stabbing that happened near the intersection of Main and E. Hastings Street around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, July 25th.
Yaseen Muzzamill Williams, a 22 year old New Westminster resident who is known to police, has been charged with one count of attempted murder.
He remains in custody and his next court appearance is July 28th at 1:30 p.m. in Provincial court.
The victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
