The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section has charged an Ottawa man with sexual assault following incidents that occurred during the month of July at a respite care facility in the 0-100 block of Cambridge Street North.

An investigation was commenced on July 24, 2010, into allegations of inappropriate touching of a 39-year-old male victim by a personal support worker at the downtown facility.

Jean Adler PIERRE, 48-years-old, of Ottawa was arrested on July 27, 2010 and is charged with two counts of Sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court today for a show cause hearing.
