EPS Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection with a homicide which occurred on July 31.

Azem Klinaku, 23
, is wanted on arrest warrants for accessory to homicide after the fact, breach of recognizance (x2), obstructing a peace officer and obstructing justice.

Klinaku allegedly assisted the accused– who was charged with murder – evade police.

Background:

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on July 31, 2010, police received a report of an injured woman at 145 Avenue and 52 Street. Investigations later revealed that an altercation between the two women resulted in the victim being stabbed. She died in hospital later that morning. The two women knew each other and detectives believe the altercation began as a dispute over a male friend.
 
Ashley Rose Sinclair, 19 was charged with second degree murder and possession of a dangerous weapon in the death of Angel Bird.
