Mee Kim of Toronto charged with impaired driving

On Thursday August 19, 2010, at 6 a.m., police were called to Brookdale Avenue for the report of a fail-to-remain collision.

It is alleged that:

– a woman driving a Toyota was involved in a fail-to-remain collision on Yonge Street, north of Lawrence Avenue,

– the driver continued to drive away from the collision and stopped on Brookdale Avenue, some distance from where the collision occurred.

Police arrived and arrested the driver of the Toyota.

Two other females, passengers in the Toyota, were taken to hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.

Mee Kim, 20, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Impaired Driving,
2. Drive Over 80 mgs,
3. Fail to Stop After Accident.

She has also been charged with offences related to the new provincial legislation regarding novice drivers and alcohol.

She is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, courtroom 301 at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2010.
