On Wednesday August 18, 2010 at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision at Winchester Road and Ritson Road in Oshawa. A red Chevrolet Blazer, being driven by a 52-year-old Scugog male, was northbound on Ritson Road when it collided with a brown Lexus S.U.V. traveling westbound on Winchester Road. The Lexus was being operated by a 52-year-old female from Whitby.
The drivers of both vehicles along with a 42-year-old Oshawa female passenger, were all transported to Lakeridge Health Centre Oshawa and treated for injuries which are not considered life threatening.
The driver of the Chevrolet Blazer, Ken GRAVES, age 52, of Water Street in Scugog Township was arrested and charged with Impaired Driving.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have information or witnessed this incident.
