Richibucto RCMP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred near Exit 32 on Highway 11, north of Bouctouche.
On December 10, 2013, at approximately 5:25 p.m., RCMP responded to a head-on collision involving two vehicles. A 21-year-old Richibucto woman passed away at the scene as the result of her injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Côte Saint-Luc, QC, did not sustain serious injuries.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation in order to determine the cause of the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
Police are not releasing the name of the deceased at this time pending notification of her family.
