On September 3, 2010 at approximately 8:15 p.m., Uniform members were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of William Avenue regarding a stabbing incident.

The investigation has revealed that two sisters, 18 and 21 years of age became involved in a dispute within the home. The altercation escalated at which time the 18 year old produced a knife and confronted her sister. The 18 year old was subsequently disarmed by her sister and allegedly stabbed to the upper body.

Emergency services were notified and both females were located at the scene. The victim, Paige Chelsea MOLOI-STRAIGHTNOSE, 18 years was conveyed to hospital in critical condition where she later succumbed to injuries sustained. The victim’s sister was arrested and taken into custody.

The investigation continued by members of the Homicide Unit.

Nebula Niome MOLOI-STRAIGHTNOSE, 21 years has been charged with Manslaughter.

She has been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
