The Vancouver Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing woman with dementia who walked away from her home on Harrison Drive, near Victoria Drive, around 2:00 yesterday afternoon.

Ching Chi Lam is Asian, 81 years old, 5’2″ tall, 120 lbs., has short black hair and wears glasses. Mrs. Lam speaks limited English and walks with the assistance of a walker.

Unfortunately, there is no clothing description to provide at this time.

Mrs. Lam uses transit and often travels by bus and train to Aberdeen Centre inRichmond and the SeaBus to the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver.

Area searches by police around her home, as well as checks of public transit, other Metro Vancouver police agencies, taxi companies, and local hospitals, have failed to turn up any sign of Mrs. Lam.
