Shane Warren of Winnipeg charged with assault

As previously released, on August 11th, 2010, shortly before 1: 00 a.m., a number of male suspects broke into the residence in the 500 block of Mountain Avenue. The suspects, who had used bandanas and other forms of clothing to disguise their faces, immediately began assaulting the victims within the residence with various weapons.

Electronic equipment and cash were removed from the residence prior to the suspects fleeing the home.

Three adult male victims were conveyed to the hospital where they had received treatment for their injuries.

On August 21st, 2010 Winnipeg Police had released information regarding the arrest of an adult male in connection with this incident.

On 10 09 08 Warren was located and arrested

Shane WARREN, 30 years of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences:
– Break and Enter
– Possess Weapon Dangerous
– Aggravated Assault X2
– Assault with a Weapon
– Assault cause bodily harm, and
– Assault

WARREN has been detained in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
