Toronto’s Mayor Rob Ford was dodging serious questions yet again at city hall, the day after he astonishing made another confession of having had gotten drunk despite his previous promises to refrain from drinking. This time another video was released showing him ranting about Police Chief Bill Blair. A large crowd of reporters greeted the mayor at his city hall office on Wednesday morning, but the embattled mayor ignored their barrage of questions.

However, Mayor Ford did previously answer reporters’ questions on Tuesday, when he confessed that he was drinking “a little bit” drunk when the video was recorded at a fast-food restaurant on Monday night. He said “what I do in my personal life and with my personal friends, that’s up to me.” Ford added that “It’s my own time. It’s with my own friends.” However, on the contrary, Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly seemingly disagreed with these notions on Wednesday morning, when he stated that “he’s got problems, and I think that, in light of all of the revelations of the past couple of months, two or three months, I would have thought that the mayor would have wanted to distance himself from those issues and regrettably he hasn’t.”

Back in November, when the Mayor first confessed having smoked crack cocaine, asserting that it was “probably in one of my drunken stupors,” he promised to never drink again. Meanwhile, the mayor was also inquired about his activities from last week, when photos of his visit to a downtown nightclub spurred on social media, Ford snapped at a reporter and adamantly stated that “I don’t drink.”
