The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Friday, December 6, 2013, a woman was at the Columbus Centre, at 901 Lawrence Avenue West
– she was sexually assaulted by a fitness instructor
On Thursday, January 23, 2014, Lawrence Grecchi, 52, of Toronto, was arrested.
He has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, March 7, 2014, courtroom 301.
Lawrence Grecchi has worked under contract as a fitness/tennis instructor at the Columbus Centre for over 10 years.
Police believe there may be witnesses and other victims.
