Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7132 Lawndale #404 about 6:10 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 25).
The victim, Ascehsion Garcia, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers X. Avila and J. Sosa reported:
Two to three male suspects entered the apartment and forced the occupants to the floor. Multiple gun shots were fired and the victim was struck. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction. At this time, the motive for the shooting appears to be drug related.
