Lunenburg County RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred earlier this morning.
At 4:20 a.m., RCMP, Emergency Health Services and New Germany Fire Department responded to a single vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 10 in New Germany. Preliminary investigation revealed that the lone man was traveling north on Highway 10 when he crossed the road and landed in the ditch. The 60-year-old man from Pinehurst was pronounced dead at the scene.
An RCMP traffic analyst was called in to assist investigators and the investigation is continuing.
