Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4606 Phlox about 5:55 a.m. last Friday (Feb. 21).
The male victim, Jose A. Gomez, 36, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant S. Murdock and Officers L. Bailey and K. McDonald reported:
Mr. Gomez was standing outside next to his truck when he was shot several times.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive in the shooting.
