A pickup truck flipping at Lake Simcoe claims a Ukraine woman’s life

The two men seriously injured in the pickup truck that flipped over while travelling on Lake Simcoe are expected to make a full recovery. A 51-year-old Richmond Hill man and a 42-year-old from North York are recovering in hospital. 

The 27-year-old driver from North York and a 40-year-old passenger from Concord received minor injuries and were treated in hospital and released. 

The 32-year-old deceased female is from Ukraine, but her name is not being released at this time.

Investigators believe the occupants were not wearing seatbelts. Although the scene has been cleared, the investigation is continuing.
