London police investigate regarding a sexual assault incident at St. Julien Park

Members of the London Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section are currently investigating a sexual assault that took place on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m. in the area of St. Julien Park in the city of London. 

An adult female sex trade worker met the suspect in the area of Hamilton Road and St. Julien Street and was driven to the area of St. Julien Park, where she was sexually assaulted inside the suspect’s vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. The victim and the offender were not known to one another.

The suspect is described as male, possibly in his 30’s, average build, middle eastern decent with a strong accent, longer length dark curly hair, had an unkept beard and is a smoker. At the time of the offence he was wearing black pants, a light coloured sweatshirt and a black toque. 

The vehicle involved is described as an older model (possibly mid-90’s) 4-door sedan, with a white or light colour exterior and darker colour trim, or molding, on the lower portion of the vehicle. The interior was a light colour, possibly tan, vinyl material.
