Edmonton police officer Frank Quaidoo charged with assault

The Edmonton Police Service has charged Const. Frank Quaidoo with assault in relation to an on-duty incident on May 12, 2008.

Quaidoo has been with the EPS for approximately nine years. The first court appearance has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2010. He remains on active patrol duty in north division.

Quaidoo was responding to an officer in distress at a local high school when the alleged assault happened. A School Resource Officer was in an altercation with two males in a school parking lot. Several officers, including Quaidoo, responded.
