Oakville man dies in a fatal dirt bike collision in the Ganaraska Forest

A 41-year-old Oakville man has succumbed to his injuries as a result of being thrown from his dirt bike in the Ganaraska Forest.

On Saturday, May 31, 2014, at approximately 5 p.m., the victim was driving his dirt bike on the trails of the Ganaraska Forest when he was thrown from the bike. Other riders transported him to Highway 115 and an ambulance was called. The victim was taken to a local hospital where his condition deteriorated. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital. 

Members of the DRPS Traffic Services Branch, Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation.
