York police search for missing woman Kim Smith

York Regional Police is seeking public assistance in locating a 43-year-old woman from the Town of Newmarket.

Kim Smith was last seen on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at 7:15 p.m. when she was dropped off by a taxi cab at a funeral home located at 6150 Yonge Street, in the area of Yonge Street and Newton Drive in North York.

Ms. Smith has not made any contact with family or friends, which is out of character for her. Police and her family are concerned for her well-being.

She is described as:

– Female, South Asian

– 5’5” and 200 lbs.

– Black hair

– Brown eyes

– Last seen wearing a black and white striped sweater, black pants, black shoes

– Walks with a limp

The investigation is ongoing.

Update: On Wednesday, June 4, 2014, Kim Smith was located. She was found in good health and has been reunited with her family.
