Winnipeg man Kevin Glenn Bunn charged with second degree murder

It was learned that the two victims, along with two others, had been walking in the area when they came in contact with a group of six people.  A verbal exchange took place between the two groups which escalated to the point where the accused, who was in the second group, armed himself with a weapon and stabbed the victims.

The investigation continued by members of the Homicide Unit who were able to identify a suspect.

On July 3 shortly after 10:30 p.m. Kevin Glenn Bunn 25 years of Winnipeg was located and arrested without incident.  He has been charged with Second Degree Murder & Attempt to Commit Murder for his alleged involvement.

Bunn was detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.

No further arrests are expected.
