Nepaul McMorris wanted for attempted murder in Mississauga

Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting in the area of Dundas Street and Hurontario Street.

At approximately 11:56 p.m., on Monday, October 11, 2010, police responded to a call for a male complaining that had been shot. On arrival, officers found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The investigation has determined that the shooting was as a result of an altercation between two individuals. Following the shooting, the victim fled the scene and police were called. The victim’s wounds are not considered life-threatening.

The victim has since been treated and released from an area hospital.

Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Attempted Murder, for Nepaul MCMORRIS, a 22 year-old resident of Toronto.

Nepaul MCMORRIS is described as male, black, 6”, approx 155 lbs, medium build, brown eyes, black hair, and visible pimples/pockmarks on his face. Investigators are actively seeking out Nepaul MCMORRIS’s whereabouts and are urging him to contact his lawyer and make arrangements to turn himself in.
