Earlier this month, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit became involved in an investigation surrounding the accessing and possession of child pornography.
Yesterday, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Wheatley. A laptop computer, desktop computer, external hard drive and numerous external storage devices were seized for analysis.
Peter Dyck, 59 years, of Wheatley was arrested and has been charged with accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
