On August 18, 2014, members of the Saskatchewan ICE Unit with the assistance of the Yorkton City RCMP Detachment and Canora RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant on a residence located in Canora, Saskatchewan in regards to Internet child exploitation and sexual interference involving a victim under 16 years of age. Twenty nine year old Jason Teddy Matychuk, (D.O.B.- 1985-02-12), was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography, and sexual interference. Police seized computer devices and are still investigating.
Jason Matychuk appeared before a Justice of the Peace on August 19, 2014.
