On October 31, 2010, at approximately 9:30 am District 9 RCMP responded to a head-on collision involving a tractor trailer and a passenger car on Highway 11 near Eel River Crossing.
The driver and sole occupant of the passenger car, a 64-year-old man from Dalhousie, passed away at the scene. His name is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries.
The investigation continues.
