Police bust a marijuana grow operation in a Toronto condominium

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Monday, November 1, 2010, the Toronto Police Service Drug Squad executed a drug search warrant at a condominium building in the McCowan Road/Hwy. 401 area.

It is alleged that:

– during the execution of the warrant, a large soil-based marijuana grow operation was located in a maintenance area above the boiler room on the roof of the building,

– a total of 2,674 marijuana plants, with a street value of $2.5 million, were seized along with a large quantity of hydroponic equipment.

The investigation is ongoing and several suspects are outstanding.
