On September 9th, 2014 at approximately 6:15 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to Green Road at Hwy #8 to investigate a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was crossing southbound on the west side of Green Road when he was struck by a 2014 Dodge Ram vehicle turning westbound from northbound Green Road. The driver, a 75-year-old Stoney Creek man remained at the scene and police were called.
A 60-year-old Stoney Creek man was taken to hospital by EMS and has since succumbed to his injuries.
