Houston police investigate regarding a man’s death at 10900 Hammerly

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 10900 Hammerly about 4:10 p.m. on Monday (September 8).

The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending an examination by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a body floating in the waterway west of the above address, near Addicks Dam.  The victim appeared to have been in the water for some time and had no identification on his person.  

The investigation is continuing.
