Three people have been charged after police search a residence in Halifax early this morning.

Acting on a complaint from the public, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit conducted a search in the 1900 block of Brunswick Street at 1:44 a.m. this morning. Three people were arrested at the scene without incident.

A 20-year-old Truro woman faces a charge of keeping a common bawdy-house. A 20-year-old Dartmouth man and a 16-year-old female youth from Truro each face a charge of being an inmate in a common bawdy-house. All three are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit provides investigative services for incidents involving gaming, missing persons, prostitution and other vice-related incidents. The unit deals with street level prostitution, escort agencies and gambling complaints.
