Danny Correa charged with sexual assault in Toronto

On Wednesday, November 10, 2010, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release regarding several sexual assault incidents.

It is alleged that:

– between September 2010 and November 2010, police investigated four reports where young women between 20 and 25 had been walking in the Black Creek Parklands, in the Finch Avenue West/Sentinel Road area,

– the women were approached from behind by a man who made inappropriate sexual comments,

– he then sexually assaulted the women,

– the man followed the women until they walked into a clearing,

– he then returned back into the wooded area of the park,

– all the assaults occurred between noon and 7 p.m.

On Thursday, November 11, 2010, police arrested and charged Danny Correa, 25, of Toronto, with:

1) Sexual Assault.

On Friday, November 12, 2010, he was further charged with:

1) Sexual Assault.

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, November 12, 2010, room 306, at 10 a.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
