The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing girl.

Shania John, 12, was last seen on Sunday, October 27, 2014, at approximately 4:30 p.m.. in theMorningside Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area.

She is described as black, 5’4″, brown eyes and long black braided hair extensions just below the shoulder. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater, black jacket, gray sweatpants and brown boots. 

Police are concerned for her safety.

Update: She was located on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
