District 9 RCMP have arrested two men in connection with a break and enter and assault at a home in Campbellton.

On November 15, 2010, just before 9 p.m., the RCMP responded to the home where two adults and two children were living. Four masked men had entered the home. A woman was assaulted during the incident but not seriously injured. There were no other injuries.

A short time later, RCMP officers arrested a 23-year-old man and three 20-year-old man in the downtown area. They are scheduled to appear in Campbellton Provincial Court on November 16, 2010 to face charges.

UPDATE: 

20-year-old Chad Blais of Moncton, 20-year-old Jeremy Hazlett of Fredericton, 20-year-old Jacob Mann of Campbellton and 23-year-old Trevor Mann of Campbellton, N.B. appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court, each facing a charge of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence into a residence.

All four men were remanded into custody for a bail hearing at 9:30 a.m. on November 19, 2010. Further charges are anticipated.
