The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.
Garfield Steele, 32, was last seen on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at 10:30 p.m., in the Eglinton Avenue East/Bellamy Road North area.
He is described as black, 6’1”, 220 lbs., brown eyes, with long, black hair in dreadlocks.
Police are concerned for his safety.
UPDATE: Halton Regional Police have determined the identity of human remains found in Nassagaweya yesterday. Police have identified the deceased as Garfield Steele, 32, of Toronto. Steele had been reported missing to the Toronto Police Service November 11. He was last seen in Toronto November 3.
Foul play is suspected in the death and the Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
