Two men sought after home invasion in Vaughan

The York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying and apprehending two suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion robbery in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, December 23, 2010, at approximately 4:30 p.m., two male suspects forced their way into a residence on Foxhill Drive. The suspects assaulted the lone occupant in the home, a 19-year-old male, before fleeing the scene.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The victim was treated for minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspects are described as:

SUSPECT #1:

 Male, black, approximately 20-years-old
 6’2”, 200 lbs, muscular build
 Wearing an orange work-style jacket

SUSPECT #2:

 Male, black,
 5’11”, slim build
 Trimmed beard
 Wearing a puffy winter jacket with a fur trimmed collar and a black and blue baseball cap

Investigators are asking for anyone who might have been in the area at this time and saw anything suspicious to contact police.
