Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing vulnerable woman from the Town of Markham.
Maxine FERGUSON was last seen in the area of Bur Oak Avenue and Church Street on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at approximately 4:30 p.m. She was last heard from by phone at approximately 8:30 p.m. on the same day.
Police and family are concerned for Ms. FERGUSON’s well-being as she suffers from a medical condition that requires medication.
The missing female is described as:
Female, black, 42-years-old
Between 5’4” and 5’9”
Heavy build, approximately 230 lbs
Brown eyes
Short black curly hair
Wearing a navy blue winter coat, white long sleeve shirt, brown pants and a black hat.
